Among the very many stupid ideas that Democrats seem to be generating lately, is the idea in the Colorado state legislature to amend Colorado's tax structure to forbid companies from deducting from their revenue as operating costs the salaries of any employee making more than $250,000 a year.
This means that no sane company will move any operations to Colorado that include employees that earn more than that amount.
Yes, hopefully you understood that better than the moron who wrote the bill. A bill that penalizes companies for daring to actually hire and pay someone more than $250,000 a year. Any sane Colorado legislator would want companies to pay employees a lot of money in Colorado. Because Colorado would then get the benefit of state income taxation on that employee's salary. But some moron Democratic legislator in the Colorado state house actually wants to drive away high paying jobs.
