I have found the Democrats' bizarre attacks on the nominee for UN Ambassador, John Bolton, to be infuriatingly juvenile. Evidently, Mr. Bolton hurt someone's feelings. So Mark Steyn's column on the subject is dead-on and hilarious.

Charles of LGF points out that the Left is still trying to defend CBS's forgeries. These are no longer points of disagreement. These are abject lies. The memos were always complete and utter forgeries.More importantly, CBS tried for many days to deny the obvious - that they had been corrupted by the fanatic partisanship of Dan Rather and Mary Mapes into publishing forged smears of the President of the United States in an effort to affect a national election. Those who continue to defend CBS's actions only demonstrate their own complete dishonesty.

I just recently finished John Scalzi's "Old Man's War", largely on the recommendation of Glenn Reynolds. Glenn now tells us that Scalzi is offering a free emailed version of the novel to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, who email him asking for it.That's a great offer.

I'm watching a bit of the confirmation hearings of John Bolton. I just watched Christopher Dodd and now Barbara Boxer question John Bolton on some of the most juvenile horse manure I've ever seen a Democrat bring up in a confirmation hearing. Have the Democrats no adults in the Senate to take these two twerps aside and tell them to grow up?Barbara Boxer actually has the unmitigated gall to attack John Bolton on an old statement quetioning "nation building" by acting as if she had personal responsibility and credit for the successes in Iraq.
Outrageous.

Clayton Cramer points to this interesting discussion of a close action against pirates off Yemen by the operators of a pair of yachts.

All of the sudden, something very interesting has popped up in Spain, in the 3/11 hearings. ( Those would be the hearings on what happened in the Madrid bombings. )Follow that link and see the vague beginnings of a link between the Al Queda terrorists and Spain's socialists.

Well, we arrived here at the Denver Press Club for the RMBB. I'll update with comments if I can think of any.
Jeff Goldstein is here with his lovely wife and son. Jeff, seeing me open up the laptop, asked if I was blogging this event - saying "you know that's goofy".
Alas, I knew that it was goofy.
