We saw 300 this evening on an IMAX screen. That was an experience not to be missed. ( And by the way, for a Monday evening, at a thirteen dollar entry, every seat was sold for every show )When the Spartans are told that the Persian army is so large that the arrows of its archers will blot out the sun, the response "then we will fight in the shade" puts shivers up one's spine.

I was disappointed to see Libby convicted on Fitzgerald's ludicrous indictment and frankly inappropriate closing argument where Fitzgerald made several references in closing that the judge should not have permitted. But Libby has never been of much interest to me.With respect to Joe Wilson, who seems to think that a trial that had nothing to do with him somehow was vindication, Jeff Goldstein basically sums it up better than anyone.
