In response to Rep. Tom Tancredo's astonishingly stupid comments, I sent the following to his office:Congressman,
I have long been a conservative Republican and have shared many of your positions. But your comments about the war on terrorism demonstrate clearly that you are unfit to hold any office in this country. Your recklessness is truly astonishing. Your wild statement has undermined the efforts of the Bush administration. It will be repeated a million times in the muslim world. Islamists will increase their recruiting and Americans will die solely as a result of your looney and uncontrolled mouth. You know that this is true. People will die because you are too incompetent to be allowed near a microphone.
Be a man and resign.
